Chope! is a relatively simple game. Players sit in a circle and take turns to open as many cards as they want from the deck, trying not to get 2 cards of the same type face-up on the table. When a Table card appears, players must be the fastest to place their Chope card on top of the Table card and shout "Chope!" to claim the Table card. When the deck of cards is finished, players calculate their score and the highest scoring player wins!


With it's illustration bearing a heavy resemblance to the food, drinks and tables we see in real life, Chope is a game that represents an important part of Singaporean culture, and is a great game to pick up and play with your friends and famlily during this year's National Day celebrations.



5) Say What? Learn Singlish Card Game

The rules of Say What? Learn Singlish are simple and straightforward. Players will split into two teams , and each team will pick a reader, who will read a combination of 2 cards, one blue and one red, and other players will need to guess their meanings. The game ends when the blue and red decks run out, and the team with the most correct guesses wins!


If the pronunciations of the words are too difficult, there is a link to an audio guide which shows how to pronounce each and every word on the cards, making this game fun and informative for people, regardless of race, language, or religion.
