Back to School is a competitive card game for 3–5 players. Players gather school items, complete homework, and face unpredictable events, some good and some bad, while competing to collect points and survive the school year. Plan carefully, manage your energy, and outsmart your classmates to be the first to reach 10 points.
 
Each player’s turn consists of:
Energy Phase – Each player has 2 energy to spend. Energy can be used to draw a card or play a card.
Play Phase –
Play Item cards to collect points.
Play Action cards to gain advantages or disrupt opponents.
Play Action Plus cards anytime to protect yourself or block an opponent’s action.
Event Phase – If an Event card is drawn from the deck, it must be played immediately and resolved.
 
The game ends when a player reaches 10 points, or after all cards are played. The player with the most points wins.
